William Joseph Huser, born in Seymour, Indiana, on April 8, 1937, to William Henry Huser and Ethel Worthington Huser, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Affectionately known as “Goober,” Bill never met a stranger and was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew him. He was a devout parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church who found joy in playing cards and games, bowling, fishing, being outdoors, and—above all—spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron L. Huser.
He is survived by the mother of his children and dear friend, Wanda (Mattingly) Huser, his children, Rhonda (Steve) McClintic, Kimbra (Doug) Morris, and Brent (Debra) Huser; four grandchildren, Tanya (Elliot) Harrington, Ryan (Jacqueline) Huser, Sam (Melissa) Huser, and Ben Huser; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Mason, McKenzie, and Miles; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Please join us to honor and celebrate his life on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Alabama. Services will begin with visitation at 9 a.m., followed by eulogies at 9:30 a.m., the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy at 9:45 a.m., and Mass at 10 a.m. Celebration of life meal to follow.
Because our father had regularly attended children’s Masses and was fondly remembered for giving the children high-fives as they left the church, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to Sacred Heart School.
