HANCEVILLE, Ala. – First Source for Women is a pregnancy resource center located at 203 Commercial Street NE, Hanceville. The nonprofit offers free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling and pregnancy education for new and expecting parents. It is currently accepting Baby Bottle Boomerang donations.
The center wrote, “Baby Bottle Boomerang is our largest fundraiser of the year, all proceeds go to support our mission of helping women in unplanned pregnancies by providing the care, services, and resources they need to plan a successful future. Thank you for joining us in this mission for life!”
These donations can be brought to First Source Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
How does it work? Get a baby bottle and fill it with cash and coins! Once full, bring it to the center and the donations will go to pregnancy resources previously mentioned.
Though organizers stated, “Donations can be made online, or mailed to PO Box 1343, Hanceville AL 35077.”
Organizers suggest that there is also a need for size 4, 5 and 6 diapers, wipes, any formula and pack-and-plays.
