CULLMAN, Ala. – Socks, an approximately 2-year-old Beagle/Terrier mix, is The Cullman Tribune’s Pet of the Week.
Socks came to the shelter following a death in his family. Despite that difficult change, this medium-energy fellow remains affectionate, trusting and eager to share his love with someone new.
He is house trained and makes sure his people know when he needs to go outside, offering a persistent bark as a reminder.
Socks lights up when he is told he is a good boy. He is happiest giving plenty of “sugar,” curling up in a welcoming lap and spending time close to his person. He also has a special fondness for tuna.
With his sweet and giving nature, Socks could make an exceptional companion or therapy dog. Inside this precious fellow is an abundance of love waiting to be shared.
Socks’ adoption fee is $130 and includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, general vaccinations, dewormer and wellness examination.
