Mrs. Evie W. ‘Kaye’ Butler, age 80, of Fairview passed away on May 9, 2026, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Butler was born December 12, 1945, in Cullman County to Lois and Hoy Greer. She was married to her beloved husband Bill Butler for 56 years.
Mrs. Butler was a follower of Jesus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairview where she served faithfully for over 50 years. She retired from East Cullman Water after 31 years.
She is survived by her sister, Connie Stallings (Bud), sons Sean (Jennifer), Scott (Angela); grandsons Will Butler (Stephanie), Cody Butler and Martin Dyar (Brooke). She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Lois Shadinger and Hoy Greer, step-father Homer Shadinger, brother John Greer, sisters Shelba Sanders and Sue Carol Phillips.
Services will be on May 12, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Fairview with visitation from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Fairview Cemetery. Bro. David Chambers will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Sean Butler, Scott Butler, Will Butler, Cody Butler, Martin Dyar, Phil Phillips and Blake Greer
