CULLMAN, Ala. – Birdie-Box is set to host a 2-Man Best Ball Christmas Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 27, beginning at 1 p.m. Each team member’s entry includes a meal provided by Birdie-Box’s in-house kitchen, and participants are encouraged to embrace the holiday spirit by wearing their ugliest Christmas sweaters.

The tournament will follow a two-man best ball format, meaning both golfers on each team will play every hole, with the best score between the two counting toward the team’s scorecard. Teams will compete on the iconic Spyglass Hill course in California, played virtually using Birdie-Box’s advanced golf simulators. The simulators project the course onto a large screen while tracking ball speed, flight and direction through high-tech sensors, creating a realistic and immersive golf experience for the players.

Entry fees are $120 for non-members and $100 for members. Twenty percent of all entry fees will be paid out to the winning team, while the second-place team will receive Birdie-Box T-shirts.

Beyond the prizes and competition, Birdie-Box manager Elisabeth Black said the event is about bringing people together during the holiday season. “We hope people are able to come and enjoy time with family or friends this holiday season through friendly competition,” she said.
