Mr. Johnny “John” M. Kirkpatrick of Cullman passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on July 1, 1936, in Hueytown, Alabama to William Clayton and Mary Pauline King Kirkpatrick.
Mr. Kirkpatrick worked for and retired from The Alabama State Troopers after 32 years of service as SGT. Johnny Kirkpatrick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow services in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are. Wife: Pat Kirkpatrick, Sons: Kenneth (Tammy) Kirkpatrick, Robert (Tracey) Kirkpatrick, Daughters: Kimberly Johnston, Kelly (Bradley) Askew, Sister: Mary Ann Kirkpatrick, 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He was known to most as Johnny but one of his favorite titles was Poppy. He loved time with family, his many years of traveling with his wife and time with his sweet church family at 7th Street Baptist Church. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
