Funeral Service for Floyd Gilbert Dyer, age 86 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Hall and Bro. Jason Vinson officiating; burial at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Floyd was a Godly man who loved his family and grandchildren more than his own life. He had a heart of gold and loved being outdoors on his farm, raising chickens and cows. Floyd was a Mason for over 50 years and worked for the State of Alabama for 25 years until his retirement. Mr. Dyer will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
Mr. Dyer passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born, March 25, 1939 to Boyd G Dyer and Ruby Camp Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jacqueline Dyer; son, Larry McNabb; 7 brothers; 3 sisters; 2 step-brothers; and 1 step-sister.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary E. Dyer; children, Scott (Teresa) Dyer, Pamela Robin (Bill) Pierce, Kay Cason, Abby (Jeff) Frasier, Belinda Creel; daughter-in-law, Carol McNabb; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Steven McNabb, Kaleb McNabb, Calvin McNabb, Matthew Dyer, Micah Dyer and Noah Hobbs.
