Donna Eileen Grabert Maddux, 79, of Hanceville, AL passed away on November 17, 2025, at CRMC surrounded by her family. She was born on July 23, 1946, in New Orleans, LA to Jesse and Obie-Jane Grabert.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jacqueline Jones and brother-in-law Robert Jones.
She is survived by her children, Lavinia (Tamara) Maddux and Vince (Alex) Maddux; grandchildren Gary Maddux (Leslie Hudson), Kyle (Naomi) Maddux, and Sarah (Erick) Reza: and 8 great-grandchildren with one due in April 2026; sister Gwen Mancuso of Slidell. LA and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Donna was an amazing pianist, playing for 10 churches in her 50 years of playing. She spent 43 years in the corrugated industry, with 36 right here in Cullman at Mis-South Packaging, later WestRock. She retired several years ago and enjoyed her retirement.
There will be no funeral service. Her last wishes were for cremation and a celebration of life later. Those plans are not yet finalized and will be released by the family when completed.
