CULLMAN, Ala. – The Small Business Christmas Market will welcome dozens of vendors and will take place at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Small Business Market Owner Shayla Waldner said there will be a $3 entry for the event and free parking available.
“We will have food trucks, 65-80 vendors, Santa available and train rides,” Waldner said. “Each year we have a line wrapped around the building of early-bird shoppers waiting to shop all the local and surrounding area vendors. The vendors will have home decor, kids’ clothing, boutique clothing, baked goods, Christmas gifts, kids’ toys, jewelry and more.”
Waldner said the first 60 shoppers in line will receive a free gift.
“Santa has his own photographer; with the small purchase of one of several packages, you can snag the cutest picture of your kids with Santa — or feel free to visit him without the picture package,” Waldner said. “Santa always has a line of kids waiting to tell (him) what they are wanting for Christmas. The coffee truck out front always has to restock to keep the customers warm with some hot coffee.”
Waldner said the Small Business Market has become a locally loved event with proud returning vendors for each market. There’s a Christmas Market in November and an Easter Market in the spring.
“We have developed a close relationship, with family oriented values, with each of our vendors before it’s over with,” Waldner said. “It is a widespread growing market and I’m happy to say it is locally owned and operated right here in Cullman, Alabama.”
