A celebration of life potluck supper for the family and friends of Billy Raye Roberts, 70, of Warrior, will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Roberts was born December 1, 1954, to John A. and Ruby Emogene Turner Roberts. Billy retired from University of Montevallo after 25 years; he was a Baptist preacher and missionary for the past 30 years. He loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 50 years, Deborah Shree Roberts; sisters, Nancy Joyce Roberts and Rebecca Roberts Mullins; brother, Roger E. Roberts.
Survivors include his children, Johnny Roberts, Sarena (Doug) Moore, Keith (Andrea) Roberts; grandchildren, Jacob (Brianna) Roberts, Vanessa (John) Tidwell, Kayla (Owen) Harper, Aubree Roberts, Adalyn Roberts, Anslee Roberts; great-grandchildren, Bentley Roberts, Marlee Tidwell, Ryleigh Tidwell, Asher Roberts, Allie Sharpton, Brier Tidwell, Colt Roberts; sister, Penny (Tom) Miller; brother, Philip Roberts; and a host of family and friends.
