Tribune Debate Series continues Saturday with District 11, Cullman City Council

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Tribune Debate Series returns Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Bailey Center auditorium on the campus of Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.


The day will open with the Alabama House District 11 candidate forum at 11:45 a.m.


Democrat Alexandria Braswell will participate in a question-and-answer format. Her opponent, Republican Heath Allbright, notified The Tribune he will not be in attendance due to a prior commitment.


Following the District 11 forum, the Cullman City Council candidates will take the stage throughout the afternoon.


All candidates have confirmed they will be attending:
Place 1: 2 p.m. Brad Smith and Chuck Shikle
Place 2: 3 p.m. David Moss and Pete Nassetta
Place 3: 4 p.m. Johnny Cook and Jason Willoughby
Place 5: 5 p.m. Jenny Folsom and Kim Hall
