DODGE CITY, Ala. – On Monday, Aug. 4, a new business opened in Dodge City. Glam & Glow Salon, a full-service hair and tanning salon, is now open and ready to welcome customers with a variety of services.
Owner Lori Self said she saw a need for more beauty services in the Dodge City area and decided to fill that gap.
“There was one other salon and a barber shop here,” Self said. “I just thought — why not bring something special to this part of town?”
Located in the former Dodge City Browser, the salon offers full-service hair, waxing, spray tanning and Sunday tanning sessions. A makeup bar is also available for pageants, weddings and special occasions. There are plans to add professional hair products soon.
Glam & Glow is more than just a salon, according to Self. It’s a passion project to boost confidence in people throughout the Cullman community. “When you look good, you feel good. I want everyone who walks in to feel beautiful. Men, women, all are welcome,” she said.
