A graveside service for Frances Bennett Gaudsmith, will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. A family graveside will held at a later date at the Hulaco Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Gaudsmith passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was born April 24, 1951, to Winston & Arvece Bennett.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brian Bennett; grandparents, Leon Clayton Bennett & Lennie Bennett and Lennie & Eula Joiner.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Bennett (Portia); 2 nieces, Mariah Bennett Fergeson (Keith) & Tara Bennett (Keaton Hanselman Bennett).
Frances was a drag racer in Georgia and at Huntsville Drag Strip and had a ton of friends who loved her. She was a hard worker, and since moving to Cullman, she was big in buying antiques and reselling them at antique stores. Frances was a beautiful lady inside & out and she will truly be missed.
