David Aaron Morton, age 57, passed away on June 3, 2025, at his residence in Good Hope in Cullman County, Alabama. He was a graduate of Good Hope High School and Wallace State. He had worked for Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville and always liked technology and working with computers. He enjoyed helping friends with their computer problems. David also liked to fish on Smith Lake. But most of all, he really loved Alabama Football. He often wore something with the ROLL TIDE logo.
David is predeceased by his mother, Mary E. Auston Thorton and his grandparents, James E. Auston and Ella Calvert Auston. He is survived by his daughter, Alexa Morton; brother, Patrick Morton and his wife, Becki and their children, Christian and Katherine; sister, Beth Morton Hall and her daughter, Ramey; and his aunt Martha Jane Pigford.
David had joined the First Baptist Church as a young boy but was not active in a local church. He had requested no formal funeral, but the family will cherish your prayers, and we will all miss his boyish smile. Memorial gifts can be made to your favorite local charity or church.
