Funeral Service for Virginia Katherine Buchanan, age 74 of Vinemont, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Abbott officiating; burial at Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Buchanan passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at residence. She was born, July 21, 1950, to Oxford O’Neil Ray and Stella Marie Ray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Buchanan; sister, Nancy Harden and brother, Randy Ray.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Mike) Butler; sons, Alan (Jill) Pair and Jason Pair; grandchildren, Jessica Humphries (Tyler), Jodie Kanaday (Chris), Olan Lamar, Kaylee Pair, Cadence Pair, Ian Pair; great grandchildren, Kora Humphries, Mason Kanaday, Kenleigh Kanaday, John Hagan Humphries, Beckett Kanaday; sisters, Diana Monk, Betty Hall, Annette Waldrep, Teresa Hughes, Pam Bentley, Sandra Douglas (Calvin); brother, Rodney Ray and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
