Addison Head Coach Lee Williams
“We are playing well as a team right now. I challenged the guys, and they have responded well. We are getting excellent pitching from all our pitchers and the entire team is hitting the ball well. Our hitters are really squaring up on the ball and hitting extremely well with runners in scoring position. We just aren’t leaving guys on base. If we keep playing at the level we are now, we are going to be a tough out.”
Addison has advanced to the second round of the state playoffs and will host the second round game if Spring Garden wins but will travel to Pickens Academy if the Pirates pull the upset.
