VINEMONT, Ala. – The Town of Vinemont will host its annual senior event on Monday, March 17, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Vinemont Community Center. This month’s lunch will have a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Town Clerk Kayecea Sasser said, “Having these events allows our senior citizens to get out to socialize, have a good meal and play games. We have been hosting these events since January of 2022.”
She said the seniors love to play games.
“Bingo is their go-to game and Moss Funeral Service usually comes and handles that,” Sasser said. “This month we are gonna have someone come in and do karaoke for everyone.’
The Vinemont Community Center is located at 88 Ridgeway St. These monthly events are free and open to all senior citizens in Cullman County.
