CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office made multiple unrelated arrests over the last weekend, including:

Jan. 2

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Bremen community. David Lee Ford, 45, of Bremen, was identified as the passenger of the vehicle in question. 

Deputies determined that Ford had multiple outstanding warrants. He was placed under arrest for the warrants and transported to the Cullman County Detention Center.

Ford allegedly denied having any illegal items on his person. A subsequent search of his person at the Detention Center allegedly yielded marijuana. 

Ford is charged with promoting prison contraband (drugs) (failure to appear), five traffic violations (failure to appear), unlawful possession of dangerous drugs (failure to appear), unlawful possession of marijuana (failure to appear) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (failure to appear).  

Jan. 3

Deputies arrested Patrick Heath Hancock, 39, of Decatur, on a grand jury warrant that stemmed from an incident reported in June 2023. 

He is charged with electronic solicitation of a child.

Deputies attempted a traffic stop in the Spring Hill area of U.S. Highway 278. The driver of the vehicle allegedly refused to stop. The pursuit continued into the city limits of Cullman where the vehicle ultimately stopped. 

Timothy Darren Cleghorn, 58, of Arley, was identified as the driver of the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly yielded paraphernalia and marijuana.

Cleghorn was arrested and charged with attempting to elude, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
