REMLAP, Ala. – The Holly Pond Broncos traveled to Remlap, Alabama to take on Southeastern Friday night and despite trailing by just one score at halftime, the Broncos were unable to keep pace with the Mustangs in the second half as they pulled away to collect a 35-6 win.

Southeastern took an 8-0 lead with a score midway through the first quarter and after a mostly scoreless second, the Broncos punched one into the end zone with less than a minute to play in the second quarter. However, the Mustangs answered quickly, scoring just before halftime to take a 14-6 advantage at the break.

Southeastern tacked on another touchdown early in the third quarter to make it a 20-6 game and another score in the final two minutes of the third stretched the lead to 28-6 going into the fourth. The Mustangs added one more touchdown in the final frame and Holly Pond returned home with a 35-6 loss at Southeastern.

The Broncos will return home to host Glencoe next week.
