Faye Carol Dye, 89, of Blountsville, Alabama, passed away on July 19, 2023. Ms. Dye was born in Mississippi, on May 15, 1934, to Henry Martin and Elsie Bernice Wilkins Killian.
Faye was lovingly referred to as “Miss Fix It.” There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do or fix. She operated a ham radio as well as maintained her home. Ms. Dye was a member of Lynnwood Church of God, and she loved her Lord and Savior. She was also a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She will be missed greatly.
Ms. Dye is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Monroe Benjamin Dye; angel child, Sharon; and sisters, Tootsie Goodwin and Sandra Surrett.
She is survived by her son, Benny (Amalene) Dye; daughter, Karen Dumont, Lorrie (Mark) Green; brother, Tommy (Jean Ann) Baswell; grandchildren, Amy Peterson, Barton (Ashley) Dye, Daniel (Julie) Dye, Cindy (Jason) Barton, John (Amber) Barnett, Stephanie Peeples, Jessica (James) Peeples, Jesse Peeples; a multitude of great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count.
