CULLMAN, Ala. – The Marsh family welcomed friends and representatives from the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce Friday to help celebrate the opening of its new business. Store owners Freddy and Laura Marsh, along with their children Garrett, Meghan and Noah, are thrilled to open up Xtreme Speed RC Hobbies in downtown Cullman and when they cut the ribbon on the new location Friday, Laura talked about how excited they are to bring something to the community it hasn’t had in several years.
“We enjoy this, it’s a nice hobby to get into. (Freddy) and I met each other about 10 years ago through the hobby so this is kind of what brought us together and hopefully one day one of the kids will wind up getting into it too,” Laura said. “We’re excited. Cullman hasn’t had a hobby shop like this in around 10 or 15 years.”
Xtreme Speed RC Hobbies is located at 117 4th Street SE Suite A next door to Cullman Florist and you can find them on Facebook as well.
