CULLMAN, Ala. – This Saturday, May 6, local nonprofit Hope Horses, Inc. will host its Hats, Horses and Hope fundraising event.
“This Hats, Horses and Hope event is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Hope Horses,” said Hope Horses Executive Director Kelsey Rice. “All proceeds raised will go toward the Hope Horses therapeutic riding program.”
Kentucky Derby attire is encouraged. This includes bright, colorful dresses with floral patterns or bold prints and fancy hats, and suits with ties (including bowties).
The event will be held at Camp Meadowbrook and will start at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be served during the pre-races. Viewing of the Kentucky Derby Race for the Roses will be at 5:45. Avenue G will take the stage at 6, and auctions will begin at 8.
