Another school bomb threat made Tuesday

WEST POINT, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office can confirm that a bomb threat has been called into West Point Middle School. 

According to CCSO Communications Director Chad Whaley, deputies and investigators are on scene now. 

Proper procedures and protocols are being followed to ensure the safety of faculty and students. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.

The Sheriff’s Office has also confirmed that West Point campus has been cleared.

A statement from Cullman County Schools released Tuesday afternoon reads, “Students were evacuated from the campus while authorities searched the school, and parents were immediately notified. The building was deemed safe. The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the threat.”
