Sandra Jean Scott, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama, entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father on July 19, 2021. She was born in Jefferson County, Alabama to Urell and Margaret Sue Golden Kenerley on February 23, 1943.
Ms. Scott was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles. Sandra enjoyed crafting and art projects as well. She was a member of One By One Ministries in Savannah and enjoyed worshipping her Lord and Savior alongside her church family.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Carlton Lee Scott; son: John Douglas McCullough and a sister-in-law: Rebecca Jean Kenerley.
Ms. Scott is survived by her daughter: Suellen M. and Wayne Yates; brothers: John W. and Janet Kenerley and Urell “Sonny” Kenerley II; grandchildren: Ashley, Kimberly, Jacob, Wayne Jr., Melissa and Johnathan and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Scott are 2 p.m., Saturday, July 24, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family an hour prior to service time, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
