Funeral service for Cindy Wood, 50, of Hanceville will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Stonebridge Farms with Reverends Rodney Thompson and Bradley McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem East Cemetery in Hanceville. Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cindy’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. and at Stonebridge on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
She was the daughter of Truman and Barbara Haynes Steele. She was born in Cullman and was a cosmetologist. She died after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband: David Wood; children: Heather (Judd) Foust, Justin (Sarah) Wood and Skylier (Nikki) Wood; mother: Barbara Steele; grandchildren: Kaysen, Miles, Sophia, Matthew, Tynzlee and Acksten Wood; and siblings: Ronald Steele, Anita Robinson, Donald (Kitty) Steele and Kenneth (Ellen) Steele. She was preceded in death by her father, a grandson: Ledger and a sister, Theresa.
