Margaret Wilma Cofield, 84, passed away on March 16, 2021. She was born June 29, 1936, in Cullman County, to Jim and Beatrice Johnston Breedlove.
Ms. Cofield worked many years on the production line at the Goldkist plant. Margaret enjoyed a good yard sale and the treasures she found there. She also enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed feeding those she loved. Margaret was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and like most mommas around here, she loved her family with food. She was of the Baptist faith and worshiped at several different churches in the Baptist church family. Ms. Margaret leaves behind a large family who will be forever grateful for the woman she was, the prayers she prayed, and the love she has shown to them.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Beatrice Breedlove; husband, Fred Cofield; sons, Wayne Cofield and Tommy Cofield; and her six older siblings.
She is survived by her son William Anthony Cofield; daughters, Audrey Smith and Kitty Todd (Johnny); ten grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Ms. Margaret are 2 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, South Cemetery in Blountsville, AL. Friends may visit with the Cofield family in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel from 12:30 p.m., until 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
