A funeral service for Karen Denise Fitzek, 59, of Bremen, AL will be at noon Thursday, March 4 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held after funeral services at 3 p.m. March 13, 2021 at Beat 8 Community Center located at 63 County Road 15, Bremen, AL 35033.
Mrs. Fitzek is survived by her husband David Mauldin; children Nathan Hestla and Stacy (Stoney) Vincent; grandchildren Chandler Graves, Kyler Pugh, Grayson Anderson, and Carter Weeks; sister Sharon Quick; brother Tony (Shasta) Quick; nieces and nephews Amber Lang, Adam Lang, Seth Quick, Chelsea Quick, Brody Quick, and Cade Quick; great-nieces Autumn Creek and family, Peyton Strawbridge and family, Zoe Strawbridge, Tess Strawbridge, Ella Kate Lang, and Ayla Mathis; and great-nephews Brody Lang and Braxton Mathis.
Mrs. Fitzek was preceded in death by her parents Asa and Ruby (Shelton) Quick.
