CULLMAN, Ala. –  According to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), Cullman County added 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, with 5,609 cases confirmed across the county since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 785 were confirmed in the last 14 days. Statewide, the ADPH reported 1,803 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, with 49,817 in the last 14 days.

The ADPH also reported 2,724 patients currently hospitalized across the state.
