A private memorial service for Carolyn Jeanette Hudson, 78, of Cullman will be planned and announced in the coming days. Mrs. Hudson passed from this life Jan. 4, 2021 at the Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hudson was born Sept. 8, 1942 to Dewey and Doris Yearwood Davis. She was a good Christian woman who loved her Lord, her family, and her dog Maggie. Mrs. Hudson was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to travel, especially, to the mountains. She loved family gatherings, revival meetings and gospel concerts. She and her son Richard, Jr. are now together in heaven.
Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents; a previous husband Richard Hudson, Sr.; her son Richard Hudson, Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughters Abby (Jimmy) Campbell and Laura Hudson; sons Joe Hudson, Willard Hudson, and Dillard Hudson; grandchildren Eric (Denise) Campbell, Jeremy Hudson, Justin (Jessica) Campbell, Leslie Hudson, and Kristen (Steve) Krapf; great-grandchildren Alex, Jordan, Sara Campbell, Warren Campbell, and Ryan Krapf; and a host of family and friends.
