Dorris Johnson Diehl, 89, of Haleyville, entered into rest Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Dorris was born Feb. 2, 1931 in Haleyville.
Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 from 11 a.m.-noon at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at noon. Reverend Mitch Nethery and Brother Jeff Flinn will officiate. Burial will be in Union Grove Congregational Church Cemetery in Haleyville.
Dorris is survived by her daughters Eva Renee Foster and her husband James, Brenda Slattery and her husband Donald, and Elizabeth Wright; sister Susan Story; grandsons James Robert Edwards, Teddy Lee Foster, Jimmy Earl Foster, Jared M. Rasbury, Asa C. Rasbury, Christopher Dobbins, Aaron Gray and Steven Adonis Brown; and granddaughter Leah K. Rasbury.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Earl Johnson; second husband Jim Diehl; daughter Wanda Johnson; mother Sally Dickinson; father and stepmother Lonnie Williams and Eula Mae Williams; grandson Randall Dobbins; and sister Georgia Lee Evans.
