PREP FOOTBALL: Tigers handed 43-6 loss at Berry

BERRY, Ala. – Meek was back on the road for another region contest Friday night and was dealt a 43-6 loss by the Berry Wildcats. The Wildcats built an early lead and cruised to a comfortable win over the Tigers to drop them to 1-8 on the season.

Berry led the way 22-0 at the end of the opening quarter and tacked on another score to enter the halftime break with a 29-0 advantage. The Wildcats continued to pull away, stretching the lead to 36-0 by the start of the fourth quarter. The Tigers managed to get on the board in the final frame, but Berry did as well and held on to defeat Meek 43-6.

The Tigers will be back on the road next week for their season finale against Sumiton Christian and they’ll be looking for a win to cap off the regular season.
