West Point man charged with intent to distribute meth

WEST POINT, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Community Response Team (CRT) on Monday arrested Randall Lee Parris, 46, of West Point after allegedly discovering 12 grams of methamphetamine at his residence along County Road 1142. The CRT was executing an arrest warrant.

“We have had many complaints about this suspect from citizens in the West Point community,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “I am glad our CRT deputies were able to execute these warrants safely and also seize more meth from this suspect.”

Parris is charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and other failure to appear warrants.

Parris is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center without bond.
