      Ingredients

      • 1 stick butter
      • 1 egg
      • 1 c milk
      • 1 c self-rising flour
      • 1 c sugar
      • 1/2 tsp. salt
      • 1 quart strawberries
      • 4 oz. cream cheese

      Directions

      1. Preheat oven to 350.
      2. Put the butter in the skillet and place in oven till melted.
      3. Mix together remaining ingredients (except strawberries and cream cheese).
      4. Pour batter over butter in skillet.
      5. Clean and quarter strawberries and spread over batter.
      6. Cut cream cheese up into small pieces and sprinkle over the top of the strawberries.
      7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or till golden brown.

Taste is amazing! The berry/butter/bread ratio is perfect!
