Eddy Dean Stephens, 65, of Blountsville went to be with his Heavenly Father May 9, 2020. He was born in Blountsville, Oct. 18, 1954 to Lelton J. and Frances Stephens.
He lived a life full of adventures and constant studies. He loved music, reading and studying about history as well as places in the world he would like to venture to. His studies at the school for the blind prepared him to go on to the University of Alabama where he obtained and master’s degree in psychology. He enjoyed each stage of his life and the variety of friends he met along the way. From everyone he met at the flea markets with his mom to the dear friends he got computer help and ordered music from near the end of his life, he had a blessed life full of good memories.
He is preceded in death by his mother Frances Moody Stephens.
He is survived by his dad Lelton J. Stephens and Brenda Stephens and a host of cousins, friends, and extended family members on both sides.
Eddy will be laid to rest beside his mom at the Rock Springs Cemetery in a graveside service May 12, 2020 at 11 a.m.
