Funeral services for Mr. Claud Day, 86, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dennis Reeves will be officiating. Visitation by friends will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mr. Day had been a fabricator at Alter Utility Manufacturing, held an associate degree and was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Day is survived by his son Leon (Carolyn) Day of New York City, New York; sisters Mary Burns of Hanceville and Loraine Day of Birmingham; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Day is preceded in death by his parents John Alton and Jura (Nichols) Day.
