CULLMAN, Ala. – Several Lady Bearcats have earned All-State honors after putting together phenomenal 2019 seasons. Senior Abby Branham and junior Hannah Bircheat earned spots on the 6A first team and spots on the 1A-7A Super All-State Team as well. Another senior, Pia Muri, earned an honorable mention along with a trio of freshmen, Addie Echols, Abigail Lawson and Jeta Falcon.

Branham found the back of the net 42 times this season to bring her career total to 166 goals while Bircheat helped lead the Lady Bearcats to 23 shutouts. Cullman head coach Jacob Brown says that his two first-teamers were the biggest keys to the Lady Bearcats’ success this Spring.

“Abby and Hannah were the backbone of our team, offense and defense,” Brown said. “I am extremely proud of them for their accomplishments and they definitely represent Cullman well.”

Brown was proud of his group of honorable mentions as well and is looking forward to seeing how they develop as athletes and individuals.

“Addie, Pia, Jeta and Abigail were also great this season and I am excited to see how they continue growing as players and young women.”
