James Edward Witte, 79, of Cullman, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019.
Jim was born May 24, 1939 to Robert L. and Mary Kathryn Witte in Birmingham, Alabama.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Blair Witte; his son, James Andrew Witte; brother, Robert L. (Karolyn) Witte, Jr., Center Point, Alabama; and sister, Amelia Witte (Buddy) Long, Pensacola Florida; a host of nephews and nieces; and his special caregiver, Gidget Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Allan Witte.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
The service, officiated by Pastor Bob Kurtz, will be Thursday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church, Cullman, Alabama. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
