CULLMAN – A sure sign that the holiday season has begun, Cullman Parks, Recreation, and Sports Tourism’s (CPRST’s) annual Holly Market Christmas Arts and Crafts Show will open Friday morning at the Cullman Civic Center. The two-day event will run from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. There is no admission charge.

More than 80 vendors, selling handmade arts and crafts, baked goods and more, are participating. The show will have thousands of great gifts made by local artisans. Other vendors include Brickyard Meat Processing, Stylin Pup Pillows, Knotted Arrow and Southern Addiction Decor.

Kids can stop by the Jingle Bell Bakery sponsored by Farmhouse Bakery. For $7, kids can decorate and take home their own cookies. The Candy Cane Café will also be selling concessions. The proceeds will benefit the CPRST Therapeutic Recreation Program, which is for individuals with physical, mental, social or emotional limitations or abilities.

On Saturday, Santa will be there taking photos with the kids. Live music and kids crafts are planned. For more information and additional vendors, visit the Holly Market Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hollymarketcullman/.
