    Joey Ruse wins St. Bernard Middle School spelling bee

      Joey Ruse, an eighth grader at Saint Bernard Middle School, conquered the Middle School Spelling Bee with the word “dragoons” and the championship word “mandible.” Joey will represent Saint Bernard in the Cullman County Spelling Bee Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Joey is the son of Doctors Tony and Naykala Ruse, of Cullman. Pictured with Joey is Father Linus Kluscarits, assistant headmaster of Saint Bernard Prep.
