CULLMAN – A Cullman woman was arrested recently after a search of her home allegedly yielded hydrocodone pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Lindsay Nicole Schmale, 35, was arrested at her apartment on the southwest side of town by Cullman City Police Department Sgt. Chris Thomason, along with Officers Dustin Colburn, Cole Kelley and Trey Higginbotham.

The officers went to Schmale's home after receiving complaints of drug activity.  After speaking with Schmale, they obtained her consent to search her residence. That's when they found 19 hydrocodone 10mg pills (a Schedule 2 controlled substance) and multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including marijuana and methamphetamine pipes.

Schmale was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was taken to the Cullman County Detention Center and has since bonded out.

Thomason asks anyone with information on any illegal drug activity to please call 256-775-7179 or 256-734-1434.
