Fairview Lions Club Labor Day Celebration and Car Show- Car registration starts at 7 a.m., parade at 11 a.m.

Monday, Sept. 5 at the park on Wesley Avenue across from the Fairview Superette. Car registration starts at 7 a.m. with a $15 registration fee. Parade starts at 11 a.m., with blowups, games and a greased pig contest after the parade. Awards for the cars given at 1 p.m. Vendors with anything but ready-to-eat food, we'd be honored to have you join us. Vendor spots are $20, payable upon arrival. Vendors will be under the trees this year, first come, first serve. We will have a band playing music throughout the day. All proceeds will go to the Fairview Lions Club project fund. Thanks you supporting your Lions Club! It helps us help others!

 

Pepsi-Sponsored Free Day at Stony Lonesome- starts at 8:30 a.m.

Two words… IT'S FREE!!! Everybody rides Free! Plain and simple right? Y'all be sure to thank Pepsi of Cullman for sponsoring it! 🙂 Please share this event and tag all of your friends to let them know! FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE! Sweet Tater Festival- starts at 8 a.m.

The second and final day of the 20th Annual Sweet Tater Festival at Smith Lake Park is on Labor Day Monday, Sept. 5. from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Admission is $3 per person. The Hot Rod Car Show happens from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. We'll also have our Sweet Tater Pie Eating Contest and Mountain Dew Chugging Contest at 1 p.m. at the Big Tent in front of the Main Stage. We'll have lots of vendors, live music and sweet taters!
