Funeral services for Jerry Edward Hill, Sr., age 70 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Etha Baptist Church and he will lie in state from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Dr. Tim Lipsey and Bro. Sam Gregory will officiate and interment will be in Hamby’s Chapel Methodist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1945 in Lawrence County. He was retired from Monsanto.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Hill and Bessie Nobel Hill; five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Woodard Hill; a son, Jerry Edward Hill, Jr.; a daughter, DeAnne Hill (Randy) Fox; and two step-son, Phillip (Kim) Crumbley and Jason Crumbley; a step-daughter, Suzie Linton Williams; grandchildren, Caitlyn Sandlin, Nick Sandlin, Tyler Hill, Hunter Hill, Spencer Crumbley, Hannah Crumbley, Clanton Crumbley, Joey Crumbley, Jerette & Elizabeth Crumbley, Chris & Stacy Angle, and Travis Linton; and a host of nieces, nephews and family.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
