In Loving Memory of Eric Eugene Jones
February 13, 1967 – October 25, 2026
Eric Eugene Jones, 59, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on October 25, 2026. Originally from Newnan, Georgia, Eric was an amazing man who impacted countless lives throughout his lifetime.
Eric was the kind of person who would help anyone and was always there when someone needed him. He had a heart for others and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather who will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the difference he made in so many lives.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sandra Campbell Jones, with whom he shared 40 years of love and life; his two children, Patrick Jones and Erica Burton; and his four grandchildren, Jada Jones, Jaden Jones, Emilie Burton, and Harlie Burton.
Eric worked for Cullman Overhead Door and Glass for 18 years and served as a volunteer firefighter with the Goldridge Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Alice Jones, and his brother, Tim Jones.
Eric leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and helping others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. He was always there for others, and he will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. Jones, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on November 20th, 2026, at the Gold Ridge Community Center.
