A local Hanceville eatery has new dishes on the menu. Country Wok, owned and operated by Kenny Lee, opened earlier this year and has become Hanceville’s go-to Chinese restaurant.
Lee said he often asks for feedback that will help him improve the menu. He previously told The Tribune that the menu remains compact so as to not overwhelm staff. He also continues to get ingredients from local sources, so customers know exactly where their food comes from.
Country Wok’s new menu items include:
Ramen
- Shoyu Ramen: Savory shoyu chicken broth, chashu pork, jammy egg, scallions, seasoned bamboo shoots and scallion oil
- Tori Paitan Ramen: Rich, creamy chicken broth, chashu pork, jammy egg, scallions, seasoned bamboo shoots and black garlic oil
- Miso Ramen: Rich miso broth, chashu pork, jammy egg, scallions, seasoned bamboo shoots, scallion oil, butter and sweet corn.
Japanese Hot Dogs
- Kewpie mayo, nori strips, bonito flakes and Japanese rice seasoning
Hong Kong Wontons
- Hong Kong-style thin-skinned pork and shrimp wontons served with Triple Street Sauce, which contains sweet soy, peanut butter sauce and hot sauce
Matcha Cannoli
- Crispy cannoli shell with matcha filing
The selection of ramen and wontons offers a savory taste that enhances the Korean wings and Japanese Hot Dog street food duo. Then you can end your meal with a sweet treat – the Matcha Cannoli.
