Funeral service for James (Jim) Glenn Peppers, age 79, of Cullman is Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Deon Black, Bro. JT Scott, and Bro. Tony Thorne officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Mr. Peppers will be laid to rest at Emeus Cemetery.
Jim went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Jim was born on November 30, 1946, to Leldon and Louise Peppers.
Jim was a quiet man who worked hard and loved his family. He was a 1965 graduate of Meek High School. He worked at Cullman Products for more than forty years. Jim had been bed bound for several years, but he had gotten to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary and was looking forward to his 80th birthday. He loved Alabama football, fast cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. But most of all, he loved the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Bonita Willis Peppers; his daughters, Kim (Jason) Hutcheson and Tonya (Nathan) Blackwood; his grandchildren, Caleb (Kasey) Hutcheson, Katelyn (Austin) Bryson, Reagan Blackwood, and Reese Blackwood; his great grandchild, Rhett Bryson; his sisters, Brenda (Thomas) Smith, Sandra (Alan) Stewart, and Sherry (Craig) White; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Austin Bryson, Nathan Blackwood, Josh Adamson, Robert Willis, Jason Heaton, Blake Heaton. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Stewart, Thomas Smith, Louis Cook,Tim Gregory, and Craig White.
