Johnny L Nail, 83, was born December 9, 1942, and passed away June 10, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady devotion, quiet strength, and a generous spirit that touched those who knew him. His faith was a guiding presence, and his days reflected the dignity of someone who believed in showing up, doing what was right, and caring for others in practical, enduring ways.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Nail; his parents, C.D. and Velma Nail; his sister, Brenda Jean Nail; his brothers, Elbert Nail, Paul Nail, and Kenny Nail; and his brother-in-law, Henry Maddux.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin (Mike) O’Berry;his grandchildren, Magen (Colby) Honey and Miles (Kristen) O’Berry;
his sisters, Diann Maddux and sister in law Shirley Nail; his brothers, Quinton (Doris) Nail and Jeff (Annette) Nail.
Visitation will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 35055, on June 14, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The Graveside Service will follow at Good Hope Cemetery on June 14, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
