CULLMAN, Ala. – Earlier this week, leaders with the City of Cullman met with officials from Cullman City Schools to celebrate the continued commitment to the district’s long-term capital improvement plan.
The City presented the school system a $600,000 check to support the Safety and Growth Capital Plan. This is the fifth of 10 installments from the City fulfilling a $6 million total as part of a 10-year commitment to the multimillion dollar capital improvement plan.
“As school system leaders, we have worked very hard on our partnership with Cullman City officials,” Cullman City Schools Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff said. “This check presentation reaffirmed their commitment to our Safety and Growth Plan, emphasizing the shared goal of strengthening local schools as a cornerstone of the community’s continued success.”
According to Cullman City Schools, the system is hard at work on a renovation and expansion at Cullman Middle School, along with construction at the new Cullman Intermediate School, among other long-term projects, “which will position Cullman City Schools to maintain its place as one of the top school systems in the state of Alabama.”
