CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office’s annual rodeo will return to the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center Dec. 12-13.
Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry said the weekend kicks off Thursday, Dec. 11, with the Special Needs Rodeo — the most rewarding event of the year.
“Attendees will enjoy a true rodeo experience plus hay rides, stick horse racing and more,” Gentry said. “This tradition is one of the highlights of the year for the sheriff’s office, and they look forward to it with great pride.”
Gentry shared his gratitude and said he loves the relationship the CCSO has built with the community over the years.
“Every year, the rodeo is a reminder of how strong that bond is,” Gentry said. “The number of sponsor banners continues to grow, and we’re often at or over capacity. This year has the potential to sell out again. This is more than just a rodeo — it’s a celebration of community, tradition and fun for the whole family. I encourage everyone to arrive early to grab seats for what promises to be another unforgettable year.”
Gates open at 5 p.m. both days, with the kids’ scramble at 7, and the rodeo performance at 7:30.
Tickets are cash only at the door. Adults are $10; children/students $8; kids 6 and younger get in free. An ATM will be available on-site.
