Funeral service for Aidan Jeremy Helms, age 19, of Cullman, is Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Pete Grund and Bro. Glen Wentworth officiating. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Aidan was born on November 30, 2005, to Nathan Helms and Kathryn Soucy. He passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his great- grandparents, Margie and Cecil Langley; aunt, Ann Shaddix; great-grandfather, Louis Helms.
He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Soucy; father, Nathan Helms (Jennifer); sisters, Gracie Martin, and Lillian Beauchamp; brother, Austin Helms; grandparents, Thomas and Faye Helms; grandparents, Glen and Karen Wentworth; aunts, Darlene Helms, and Abby Kelley; uncles, Adam Soucy, Aaron Helms, and Eddie Helms; and extended family in Florida.
Aidan loved his West Point community and everyone loved him. He was a giving and caring young man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Aidan loved Jesus and he loved being a part of his church at Spring Hill Baptist Church.
