Funeral Service for Solomon Johnson, 89, of Hartselle, will be Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ed Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was born May 14, 1937, in Morgan County, AL to Howard Alton Johnson and Jimmie Lou Holt Johnson. He passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center. Soloman was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Eula Johnson, son, Chris Johnson, daughter, Leigh Anne Craft. He retired from Monsanto after 30 years. Soloman was an excellent woodworker and made several wood instruments. He was a longtime Member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. Soloman loved the outdoors and loved to fish.

Four Grandchildren-Jacob Craft, Hunter Johnson, Leah Lawrence, and Noah Johnson.
Three Great-Grandchildren-Eliza Johnson, Everlee Johnson, and Ellison Lawrence.
Pallbearers will be Trystan Weaver, Tucker Montgomery, Jeff Woodruff, Ronald Britnell, Brent Eaton, and Dave Jones.
